Bright and early July 28th, Eli woke up for his birthday... yeah there was no sleeping in for the rest of us, especially since he knew there were presents on the table! Mamaw had arrived the day before and was here to celebrate with us... and she brought some really cool presents!
Probably one of Eli's favorite toys... he is really good at fighting fires!
Aunt Erin sent Eli a book which we read right away, early in the morning once again!
And later the fireman paused for just a little to read one of his new books... Even Firefighters Hug Their Moms... a great book, and a must have!!!
My mom is amazing... she made this cake for Eli for his party on Saturday.... he wanted a blue cake!

Not sure why both firemen in the front seat needed walkie talkies, but we got the job done AND I got to hold the axe!!! Love Eli's imagination.
Looks like Eli had a wonderful birthday! It seems just like yesterday that he was born...
