Ok... so we did leave our island... but no plane was involved and no long car ride! Just a short little car ride to a real working Fisherman's Port, then a 10 minute boat taxi ride... and we arrived on our little family vacation! The island that we spent the day at was just what we needed to feel like we 'got away' for a little bit!

About to get in the water... she's been swimming before but this water was a little bit colder!
Don't let that look fool you... she isn't relaxing and saying "oh this is just what I needed"...trust me she soon begins to panic from the cold!
This was the best part of the day... watching these two love on each other....
Eli was having a hard time, possibly dehydrated or something... but he had been crying... and his sister just wanted to take care of him.... "here brother, have a cracker"!
It got him laughing so hard, and she loved it!
She wasn't going to give up on him....
She kept getting closer and closer and eventually was close enough to put it in his mouth!!!
And this face says it all, this girl is a happy girl, so full of life!
And this is her signature move!!!
This is on the way home... we spent about 5 hours out in the sun, having a great family get-a-way!!!
Two very tired kiddos!!!

I love the look on Eli's face when Karis was feeding him that cracker. So sweet! The two of them growing up so closer together!!! Love all the pics!!!
So glad you got to go on such a fun outing. Can't wait to have these 2 here.
