Nizwa and the Old Fort

While on vacation in Muscat, we traveled about two hours to a placed called Nizwa. Nizwa is still very traditional and home of one of the oldest forts in country. We actually had a hard time finding the fort as the city has built up around it. While in the fort we were able to go up on the roofs and look out into the city and see some very old houses that are still in use today!

Just looking at these pics you can see and almost feel how hot it must be there. Eli is a trooper. Ryan practically wilts in 80 degree heat! I don't think he could handle 110!

Check out those brown eyes of Eli's! They are gorgeous! Glad you enjoyed the tour of the fort. Maybe it was bigger than the Alamo...huh?
